Horticulture

Effective microbes can be used in a variety of ways when it comes to horticulture. They can be sprayed onto soil, used to inoculate seeds, applied to growing plants as a foliar spray and used through irrigation systems.

Microbial foliar sprays stimulate photosynthetic activity, mineral balance and strong youth development. The effective microorganisms act as the delivery system allowing nutrients and minerals to be better absorbed by the leaf as well as positively populating the surface of the leaf with beneficial microorganisms.

The use of effective microorganisms increases soil fertility and improves biological diversity in the soil. The use of our microbial cultures in conjunction with organic fertilisers and mulch positively support the metabolic processes of soil. They also release nutrients making them readily available to the plants.

Adding effective microorganisms to the soil is an invaluable tool into symbiosis steering. The communication of existing soil microbiology is strengthened with the addition of effective microorganisms meaning they can work more effectively together delivering nutrients to the plant. This leads to a faster soil recovery process and the root structure of plants being significantly improved.

The use of effective microorganism technology suppresses and controls pests by working as an inoculant strengthening the plant. Lactic acid bacteria present in our microbial cultures suppress pathogenic microorganisms and helps defend the plant against fungal and bacterial infections.
